Antro del Corchia - Tourist Cave
The karst system of Antro del Corchia represents one of the largest underground environments in Europe and one of the most extensive in the world. It consists of a complex network of tunnels, shafts, and chambers that have been carved by water over millions of years within the marble core of Monte Corchia.
So far, approximately 70 km of caves and 20 different entrances have been explored and mapped, spanning across the mountain from various directions.
Ongoing explorations by spelunkers continue to unveil new chambers and hidden marvels within the marble.
